A propaganda poster from the Republicans, written in English, depicting a dead young child killed by the fascists, with the sky filled by an air bomber. Another similar phrase encouraging people to sign up and travel to Spain, was “bombs on Madrid today means bombs on London tomorrow” or in Scotland, “bombs on Madrid today means bombs on Edinburgh tomorrow”. The poster inspired a Manic Street Preachers song written in 1998, about the idealism of the International Brigaders.
